“I wouldn’t do the same… I don’t know, it was seven years ago, he was enduring it and I saw his joy that he had after the knockout because that was his dream and he made it. But we’re comparing him with a child who was five years old at the time, right? I don’t have that mind. Today he is 12 years old and before the fight I saw that he was being influenced by other people, right? Sometimes he even participated in some interviews and some reporters said. ‘You’re going to do this? He said, ‘I’m going to do it again’ and laughed because he’s a kid who thinks it’s funny.”

So Alex “Poataon” Pereira also knows that this win was big for Israel Adesanya. Earlier Izzy was not able to defeat him in the past 3 fights. Alex also revealed that his son was influenced by others. So he again wanted to do the same thing which he did 5 years back in Adesanya. “I knocked him out the night I won the belt, and my kid was wanting to do the same thing up there. I said to him, ‘No, stop, don’t do it. Stay here and don’t do anything.’
