“You’re a celebrity,” Ali Abdelaziz sharply responds to Conor McGregor’s claim of being the best

Conor McGregor- Ali Abdelaziz

Ali Abdelaziz has some names he would always like to keep in a bad light for public attention, Conor McGregor is one of them. Abdelaziz is the former manager of UFC Hall of Famer Khabib Nurmagomedov, who was also McGregor’s biggest rival. Abdelaziz currently manages the likes of Khabib’s teammates such as Islam Makhachev, Usman Nurmagomedov, Umar Nurmagomedov and other fighters such as Henry Cejudo, Kamaru Usman, Marvin Vettori and many more.

McGregor, the former and the first simultaneous 2-division champion in the UFC is the biggest name of the biggest MMA organization in the world. Being the highest-paid athlete in the company, McGregor was also Forbes’ highest-paid athlete of 2021. Today McGregor owns several successful business ventures, the most popular one of them being Proper 12 Irish Whiskey. McGregor last fought inside the Octagon back in July 2021 losing his trilogy to Dustin Poirier due to a shin fracture.

Just a few days ago, McGregor reacted to the UFC’s Hall of Fame ceremony by putting his credentials on Twitter indicating why he should be in the Hall of Fame as well. Followed by that, McGregor put out another tweet that said “Fuck the rest i’m the best”

Abdelaziz came out not so long ago and quoted McGregor’s tweet and said “Please stop you’re a celebrity you cannot hang with this young boys your time has passed thank you for the cheese [cheese emoji]”

What do you make of Abdelaziz continuously pinching McGregor for most of his tweets, do you think the former will ever stop doing so? Where do you put McGregor’s and Khabib’s rivalry amongst the greatest of all time? Do you think they will ever compete against each other in the near future? Where do you put McGregor amongst the greatest European mixed-martial artists of all time? And finally, where do you put him amongst the biggest names in all of combat sports history?
