You gotta think about that stuff,” Sterling said talking about his life after fighting. “Even right now I am in the midst of building a rum company. After facing several criticisms for winning the bantamweight belt via disqualification, Sterling had to wait more than a year to prove to the entire world that he is a legitimate champion. In his recent outing against Petr Yan at UFC 273, Sterling won the fight fair and square via unanimous decision. Following his win, Sterling took the opportunity to call out a former champion, TJ Dillashaw.

Sterling now has a record of 21-3-0 in his MMA career. TJ Dillashaw has just returned from his ban and defeated Cory Sandhagen in a five-round fight in 2021. TJ is very open to fighting for the title again and confident he becomes the champ. Jose Aldo, another top contender in the bantamweight division has also called out Sterling.

A trilogy fight between Aljamain and Petr is also highly possible. What do you think should be Sterling’s next move?
