Many fans even consider Silva to be one of the five greatest of all time. From knockouts to submissions, Silva possessed a huge number of skills in his arsenal. It made him one of the most feared opponents at middleweight.
However, Anderson Silva, as a person, has spent his entire life learning the fight game. In a recent video on Twitter, Silva was involved in a grappling match with a champion from the Amazon Tribe. He was dressed in the tribe’s colors and was also covered with red and black spots, which showcased him as a part of the group. Silva and his opponent were circling around the center before getting into it.
Though Silva has had success in his UFC fights, the UFC legend did struggle against the tribe champion. A friendly and respectful grappling fight in the end didn’t disappoint the audience from the tribe, who seemed to enjoy every bit of it. He opened up about his plans to compete one last time in the ring. The 48-year-old said that negotiations have taken place with the Japanese media. According to rumors, Silva is looking to compete in MMA rather than boxing. The Brazilian is looking for one last grand finish to his career and his favored destination is Japan.
Japan was the place where Silva started his professional MMA career. In 2001, Silva fought Hayato Sakurai for the Shooto middleweight belt in Japan. This was the stage where the Brazilian legend shone and claimed his first-ever title. What followed in his career after this start is no stranger to an MMA fan.
