Ariel Helwani gave Sean Strickland an earful after the latter questioned his love for the sport of MMA. “I was at the bar watching MMA when you were in your father’s nutsack,” Ariel Helwani replied.

Sean Strickland is known for trolling hosts in the interviews he is invited to. The 31-year-old however, might have gone a little too overboard after he questioned Ariel Helwani’s commitment and love for the sport. Helwani blasted out saying, “I was the one creating jobs in MMA, I was the one fighting for MMA to be aired when you were not even old enough to know what it stood for.”

Sean also revealed being upset about Helwani’s insensitivity while asking questions in the face of loss. The heated response by the MMA Hour host gained enormous attention on Twitter after fans seemed to agree with Helwani’s contribution to MMA journalism.

“If this wasn’t your job, you wouldn’t be sitting at the bar with the boys watching fighters get knocked out,” Strickland added. Ariel further threw shots by claiming his seniority over Strickland in MMA and fighting for the sport since his days in college at Syracuse University, New York.

Twitter exploded with reactions after Ariel Helwani went on a rant trolling Strickland for questioning his credibility in MMA journalism. The fighter called Helwani “disconnected” and on certain occasions a “beta male”.

Strickland continued his insults till the 40-year-old reporter lost his mind when Strickland started questioning his love and commitment to the sport.

Sean Strickland meanwhile, ran into defense expert, Dale Brown from Detroit Survival Training. Dale got tripped by Sean during a defense illustration that ended up destroying a showcase.
