“I didn’t lose that”- Arman Tsarukyan refuses to lose hope following Mateusz Gamrot setback
Gamrot and Tsarukyan went toe-to-toe in a 5 round affair full of striking and grappling exchanges
Arman Tsarukyan releases a statement following his loss at UFC Vegas 57 against Mateusz Gamrot. As expected, the main event of UFC on ESPN 38 turned out to be an absolute banger of a fight. The event took place inside the UFC APEX in Las Vegas and both Tsarukyan and Gamrot put forward an amazing showdown. Tsarukyan had an impressive run coming into the fight with five multiple fight wins. On the other hand, Gamrot had a three-fight win streak.
The fight was very competitive and close with both fighters getting great chances to put pressure on each other. At the end of the fight, Gamrot was announced the winner by decision as three judges scored in favour of him. The fight unexpectedly turned out pretty good as there was not much talk about it in the build-up. Many fighting pros reacted to the fight and shared their opinions. One of them was none other than former UFC undefeated lightweight champion, Khabib Nurmagomedov. The ‘ Eagle ‘ took to Twitter to share his reaction of the fight.
He wrote : “I want watch 5 more rounds.

Arman Tsarukyan reaction to the judge’s decision
After giving his best in order to win and still loosing the fight, Tsarukyan wasn’t very satisfied with the decision of the fight. During the post fight octagon interview with Michael Bisping, Tsarukyan revealed he thought he did enough to win.
” I don’t know but I thought I won this fight. I thought I won three rounds….it’s the decide. I’m gonna watch again my fight and then I can understand,” said Tsarukyan.
After that, the Armenian also took the Twitter to explain to his fans and followers that he didn’t lose the fight. The fighter also mentioned that from now he is only aiming for the top. He wrote :
“I didn’t lose that. Only upwards from here!.”
It surely was a tough thing to accept for Tsarukyan after giving such a performance. But being 25 years old, the fighter is still very young and will definitely come back stronger and harder.
