“I fu**ing lost it,” American comedian Bert Kreischer was shocked after Conor McGregor’s surprise visit to Black Forge

American comedian Bert Kreischer recently went to Ireland, the homeland of UFC’s biggest star Conor McGregor. There he went to The Black Forge Inn and crossed paths with ‘The Notorious’ himself. Kreischer, who had previously joked about beating McGregor, was starstruck by the Irishman.
UFC commentators Joe Rogan and Bert Kreischer are close friends. The two discussed McGregor multiple times at the JRE. On his own podcast, Bertcast, along with other comedians, he discussed the interaction and the events leading up to it. They saw a Rolls Royce parked outside, while going in, but thought nothing of it. McGregor owns a Rolls Royce, and it indeed was his car. They didn’t expect McGregor to be there. ‘The Notorious’ frequently visits his pub when in Ireland and interacts with the customers and staff regularly.
After Kreischer and his crew sat down at a table, they ordered their drinks and the comedian mentioned McGregor. To this, the manager asked them if they wanted to meet the “boss man”. The Americans were completely oblivious to what he was saying and thought he referred to the General Manager at the establishment. The man asked them to get their cameras ready and went out and came in with Conor McGregor himself.
Kreischer was completely starstruck at the Irishman’s presence, whom he mentions in the podcast as “f*cking coolest”. “I f*cking lost it and I went, Conor McGregor, Conor McGregor!,” he says.
Kreischer, like most fans, tried to take a picture with McGregor and he narrates the incident. “And I freaked out and I have a video of me going, ‘Hold on. Never mind. Never mind’. And then Conor grabbed my camera and started taking pictures and I was like, thank you so much.” Kreischer mentions McGregor as “the sweetest guy” who was a wonderful host and even thanked them for visiting towards the end.

Conor McGregor and fellow UFC contender Michael Chandler are acting as coaches at ESPN’s latest season of The Ultimate Fighter. This is McGregor’s second stint as coach in the series and the clips are going viral even before the release.
Contestants who win The Ultimate Fighter get a chance to get signed by UFC President Dana White. This creates a huge opportunity for the fighters’ career and even training with some of the best coaches and fellow fighters is an experience in and of itself.
Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler are reportedly scheduled to face off later this year. Their rivalry is already showing in the TUF, with clips of McGregor shoving Chandler and bullying him with taunts and words. Conor McGregor has not yet made his UFC comeback since the nasty leg break in UFC 264 in 2021. He is reportedly in a tiff with the USADA regarding reenlisting in the testing pool. Chandler poses as the potential opponent for now and the two can be seen discussing their upcoming fight in The Ultimate Fighter: 31.
