Joe Rogan Experience is one of the most viewed podcasts in the world. Hosted by popular comedian and UFC commentator Joe Rogan, many acclaimed personalities grace the podcast. Undefeated UFC middleweight Bo Nickal came on the podcast. Nickal told Joe Rogan about using AI in combat sports.

On the podcast, the duo talked about Cold Plunges, the character of Donald Trump, and even doping in sports. However, Bo Nickal’s surprising way of game planning baffled Rogan. This is what Nickal said to Rogan about his method of game planning:

I'll go into Chat GPT, and you have to ask it the right questions. I'll say, 'Hey, formulate a game plan for this type of fighter. I'm a wrestler at middleweight, and I'm going to fight this guy. Give me the perfect game plan for him.' It won't be easy. You kind of have to prod it a little bit, but it'll get closer. It'll give you some good information........It's given me good information, so we'll see where it can go. In five years, it'll probably be able to download video of somebody and tell you every one of their weaknesses.

Nickal surprised Joe Rogan by using AI (Chat GPT) to formulate game plans. However, he clarified that it was not easy and needed some prodding. Moreover, Nickal believed that Chat GPT could become even more useful fighters in the future.

Nickal’s next appearance in the octagon is at UFC 300 against Cody Brundage. The middleweight division does not have strong offensive wrestlers, and that is an advantage for Nickal. However, fighters like Robert Whitaker, Israel Adesanya, Sean Strickland, and Jarred Cannonier have impressive takedown defense. Only time will tell if Nickal fights for the title one day.

Bo Nickal trains at American Top Team in Happy Valley, Pennsylvania. ATT is one of the biggest MMA gyms in the world. Fighters like Jorge Masvidal, Dustin Poirier, Mateusz Gamrot, and Johnny Eblen train at the super gym owned by Dan Lambert. It has multiple locations around the US.

Nickal, the undefeated UFC middleweight, believed that the UFC did not have the best middleweight on their roster. This is what Nickal said about it on Joe Rogan Experience:

I train with Johnny (Eblen) all the time. He's an animal, he's a monster. To me, Johnny's probably the best middleweight on the planet right now.

Joe Rogan also agreed with the assessment. However, he believes that the UFC is the best organization globally and has a bigger reach than Bellator and PFL. Therefore, Rogan wants Eblen to come to the UFC to stake the claim as the best
