Bodybuilder and fitness influencer Bradley Martyn has been getting quite the hate from the MMA community for calling out MMA fighters. Martyn believes that because he has the size advantage he can take on light weighted fighters like Demetrious Johnson and more. Turns out, Brendan Schaub is trying to test Martyn on his claims as he pitches a fight between the bodybuilder and Demetrious Johnson.
A couple of days ago, influencer and bodybuilder Bradley Martyn went viral as he claimed he could destroy MMA legend Demetrious Johnson in a street fight. Former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub had to be the voice of reason and explain to Martyn how his statement could land him in danger. Turns out Johnson saw the video and will happily oblige with Martyn’s wish.
The ONE flyweight champion wants to prove Martyn wrong and put an end to his ignorant comments. He called Brendan Schaub after reposting the video and accepted the challenge to go against the 260-pound bodybuilder. “Just tell him I’m down. It’s not gonna go well but I’m down,” said Johnson to Brendan Schaub. Just like that Schaub became the unofficial matchmaker between the two and stated that he will have something ready.
However, with the Mighty Mouse on vacation, the matchup will have to wait for a bit longer. After his vacation, Johnson informed Schaub that he will fly to Vegas and personally look into the matchmaking. Regardless, the flyweight champion is ready to take down Martyn and prove that skill always prevails.

Former UFC fighter Brendan Schaub will be the matchmaker setting up a fight between Bradley Martyn and Demetrious Johnson. With Martyn being 6 feet 3 inches tall and 260 pounds bodybuilder, he believes he could easily dominate a lighter MMA fighter in a street fight. Martyn has previously called out Devin Haney and Nate Diaz under the same context as well.
However, this time around Johnson has agreed to fight Martyn. The MMA icon is clear that it won’t be good for Martyn and he may regret the decision. This matchmaking, however , has had people divided from the start. Many believe, Demetrious Johnson will showcase why skill wins in an argument of skill vs size. However, others claim that Bradley is double the size of Mighty Mouse and could do some serious damage to him.
While fans might be divided on the topic, the unofficial matchmaker Brendan Schaub is pretty clear on this. He had previously explained to Martyn that fighting lighter MMA fighters is not a great idea and Johnson is amongst the greatest. Regardless, the matchmaking will take some time to materialize with Johnson on vacation. While this happens to be a great matchup chances of it never taking place are highly probable as well.
