UFC Fight Night is back on the road after two continuous events at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas. UFC Long Island is set to take place at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York. Mexico is on the map,” said Brian about the upcoming bout against Rodriguez. “I am in the current stage of my life in MMA where I’m producing those fights and this is one of the biggest Mexican on Mexican fights to ever be on UFC. And to be that Mexican and he is the other one, it is an honor, and it is a privilege. I can’t wait to give the world a show.”

Ortega is one of the finest fighters in the UFC and has a record of 15-2 as a professional mixed martial artist. The fighter has only lost two times and both of his losses have come against the champions of the featherweight division. Ortega first came close to becoming the champ twice and will once again make a charge to another title shot.

Rodriguez, on the other hand, is also one of the most technically gifted fighters in the promotion. His only defeats in the UFC are against Max Holloway and Frankie Edgar. It will be an amazing main event at UFC Long Islan this weekend.
