Charles Oliveira is unbelievably good at mixed martial arts. The Brazilian lightweight has secured a win at yet another title fight but this time against Justin Gaethje at UFC 274. MMA Twitter went crazy for Do Bronx’s performance.
Charles Oliveira took on Justin Gaethje in the main event of UFC 274. ‘Do Bronx’ faced upset leading up to the fight as he was stripped of the lightweight title owing to his failure at the weigh-ins. Despite the fact that he couldn’t win a belt. Charles came to the fight guns blazing and did not disappoint.

He stood toe to toe with Justin, and even after getting knocked down twice, he traded punches with him and landed a big one to drop him off his feet. He followed this up on the ground and got yet another submission win in the main event at the Footprint Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. Charles is on his path to becoming the greatest lightweight of all time as he looks to surpass Khabib’s legacy. If Oliviera had made weight, this would have been his second title defense since becoming a champion.
Chael Sonnen breaks down the fight between Justin Gaethje and Charles Oliveira

Fans went crazy after his performance, and many wondered if there is anyone in the division who can beat him right now. Islam Makhachev threw his name in the mix, and Khabib Nurmagomedov claimed it’s the only fight that makes sense. Chael Sonnen was keeping a close eye on the contest, and he motioned for a rather unexpected bout.
Talking about it in his recent YouTube video, he said, “I’m sharing the surprise that I’m the only one that feels this entire match was predicated on a big, powerful punch from Oliveira which is unlike any shot he’s ever thrown ever in a first-round in his entire career. For anyone else, we chalk it up as they got lucky or they caught them.”
He then drew examples of Moreno and Figueiredo to support his cause, he stated, “If you want to follow the precedent that was just set by Figueiredo and Moreno, you bring Justin Gaethje right back in. I’m not predicting that that’s gonna happen, I would not bet a single dollar that that happens. I would bet a lot of dollars it doesn’t happen. But I’m sharing the surprise at the lack of conversation.”
