Darren Till is a former UFC welterweight contender. He moved up to middleweight in 2021 and is currently on a three-fight losing streak. His last fight was against Dricus Du Plessis, which he lost via submission in the third round. Now, Michael Bisping made a comment that revamped his fans on the internet.

Dricus Du Plessis recently became the middleweight champion. As such, a user uploaded a clip from Till and Du Plessis’ fight and wrote that maybe Darren Till was not washed up when he fought Du Plessis. This was because Du Plessis put up a stellar performance against Sean Strickland at UFC 297. UFC veteran Michael Bisping retweeted this and wrote:

Dricus du Plessis defeated Darren Till in a middleweight bout at UFC 282. They fought at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The fight went back and forth, with both fighters landing heavy strikes. In the end, Du Plessis was able to secure a submission victory in the third round. The fight between Du Plessis and Till was the first time they faced each other in the UFC.

In the third round, Du Plessis came out strong. He took Till down and secured a rear-naked choke. Till tapped out, giving Du Plessis the win. The victory over Till was a major win for Du Plessis. It showed that he is one of the best middleweights in the UFC.
