“Bro, you lost”- Aljamain Sterling reacts to Petr Yan’s creative take on the UFC 273 poster

Petr Yan vs Aljamain Sterling

Aljamain Sterling and Petr Yan are going to face each other inside the octagon at UFC’s next PPV. The duo last fought each other back in UFC 259 and are currently waiting for their bout at UFC 273’s co-main event.

The PPV will be headlined by the featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski vs Korean Zombie. Nevertheless, Sterling vs. Yan is also an equally important fight for the night considering their history.

Needless to say, both the fighters do not fancy each other. Especially since Aljamain Sterling won the fight due to a disqualification via illegal knee from Yan’s side, the differences between the fighters have grown immensely.

Yan believes that Sterling isn’t the real champion and faked getting hurt by the illegal knee from him. Sterling then pulled out of the rematch against Yan due to a neck injury and went through surgery. Now, after their rematch is on the resceduled, Yan has Tweeted something interesting.

Petr Yan takes posts a hilarious edited picture of Aljamain Sterling on Twitter:

Recently, the bantamweight interim champion Petr Yan posted a picture of UFC 273. The photo featured the Main and Co-main event fixture. But, Petr taking a jibe at Sterling edited his face with a clown hat and pig nose.

While many fight fans thought it was funny, Sterling didn’t like it. He replied to the tweet saying “Bro, you lost.” It is to be informed that when Aljamain first won the belt via disqualification he didn’t want to have the title and said that he never wanted to win in such a manner. But, over time his stance changed and he started calling himself the “real champion“.

Which is absolutely true. But, many fight fans often question him if he was winning the fight before the illegal knee. Because Yan was dominating Sterling at UFC 259 before he lost the fight via disqualification. Nevertheless, it looks like the feud has started before the fight. Needless to say, it will build up hype around the fight.
