UFC CEO, Dana White, walked off the set of Canadian comedian, Howie Mandel‘s podcast. This created a viral moment that caught a lot of attention on social media. Here is what happened:

Dana White abruptly walked off Howie Mandel’s podcast “Howie Does Stuff.” Howie Mandel’s attempt to engage White in conversation did not prevent him from leaving. Dana White said: 

Thank you all for the kind words, I appreciate it. I am so f****** tired of doing podcasts, I’m literally done with them. I’m not doing anymore podcasts.

The incident occurred within a minute of when the podcast started. White’s action created an awkward and unexpected moment during the podcast. White had not commented on why he walked off the podcast. Fans speculated it was possible that Dana was simply tired of doing interviews. White has been doing a lot of promotional media in recent months to promote UFC 300, and it is possible that he was just feeling burnt out.

However, in reality, it was simply a prank. Dana walking out of the podcast in thirty seconds was a skit. The podcast did a bait-and-switch. Dana in reality has no problems with the hosts, Howie Mandel, or comedian, Ginger Billy. Howie Mandel gained prominence for voicing Gizmo in the film “Gremlins” and hosting “Deal or No Deal.” He is also a comedian and famously a judge on “America’s Got Talent.” His versatile career has made him a respected figure in the entertainment industry.
