MMA veteran Chael Sonnen is one of the funniest fighters of all time. Recently, Sonnen supposedly fabricated an incident that fans trolled him for on Twitter. ‘The American Gangster’s recent story about his phone call with Mark Zuckerberg had fans questioning the validity of it.

On the ‘MMA Hour‘ with Ariel Helwani, Sonnen was a guest on a recent episode. The fighter and the reporter touched on the rumored Mark Zuckerberg vs Elon Musk bout. “Zuckerberg has told me that he has agreed to fight Elon Musk at UFC 300. It was a very big deal. He kept bringing it up,” said Chael Sonnen. He revealed that the CEO of ‘META’ wanted Chael to send his regards to Helwani on contacting the billionaire business mogul about the rumored fight against Elon Musk.

‘The American Gangster’ revealed to have spoken on the phone with Mark Zuckerberg regarding the fight. “The way he [Mark Zuckerberg] talked to me, I just went with it.” Throughout the segment, Ariel Helwani looked confused. The UFC veteran’s story about his friendly conversation with the CEO of META took fans on a wild ride. Although the receipts of the conversation cease to exist, fans troll the fighter for his stories.

The UFC veteran was revealed to have spoken with Mark Zuckerberg on the phone regarding the fight against Elon Musk. ‘The American Gangster’ said it with such conviction in the recent interview with Ariel Helwani. However, fans had a tough time believing the said story. One fan wrote, “Chael could sell water to a whale.”
