Chael Sonnen received decent reviews from Twitter for his acting performance in the new movie Mojave Diamonds. Sonnen has a way of voicing controversial opinions from time to time. This time, he received severe backlash on Twitter for using a picture of the son of Dean Norris for a strange comment.
Chael Sonnen is one of the most charismatic personalities in the sport of MMA. He defeated several formidable opponents in the octagon during his prime. His fights with Anderson Silva were iconic and earned the respect of many. Nevertheless, Sonnen gets trolled quite a bit for his tendency to trash-talk excessively. The fighter’s unnecessary trash talks often landed him in trouble with Brazilian fighters.
The ex-UFC star received significant criticism for his latest tweet. Dean Norris tweeted a picture of him getting his 18 yr old son his first pint of beer in Dublin. Chael Sonnen’s reply triggered the internet immensely. Sonnen wrote, “If you were a bum, father, like, for example, you did not spend your son’s birthday with him. In fact, let’s say you were in a totally different country, and since time could not be given, a posted photo that you did not take was given. Would that make you feel satisfied, or would that make you feel embarrassed?“
The reason why Chael Sonnen decided to say something like this remains unknown. It’s probably one of the most random responses to something ever. It might remind you of Mike Tyson’s hilarious responses to the media. But at least Tyson answered a question directed at him. However, Sonnen seemed to assume his strange response was relevant.
