Ian Garry vows to beat Colby Covington in front of Donald Trump
Irish star Ian Garry intensified his rivalry with Colby Covington. Garry set his sights on Covington after a big win at UFC 298. Garry, still undefeated in the welterweight division, didn’t mince words. The Irishman said he would humiliate the American fighter in front of Donald Trump.

The 26-year-old vowed to silence Covington forever. Garry predicted Covington would go back to Miami after suffering a humiliating loss at his hands. The Irishman took it a step further by invoking former President Trump. Covington is an outspoken supporter of Trump. Garry declared that he would drag Covington in front of the former president when they fought.
The call-out seems strategically aimed at antagonizing Covington through his political allegiances. Garry appeared to oppose Trump’s “Make America Great Again” movement. The UFC has yet to officially schedule a bout between the two welterweight contenders. However, Garry’s heated comments increased the pressure on UFC to make the grudge match.
