But his recent appearance in an interview with famous comedian Andrew Schulz had some eye-catching moments. Chael Sonnen claimed that, unlike many reports, the boxing match between Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather did not turn a profit. The money $100,000,000 pocketed by the fighters remains fake, according to Sonnen. Sonnen further stated, “Thousands of seats in the arena were empty during the event. The broadcasting companies edited the seats to look full.”

He said that he doesn’t say such things quite often other than with other fighters like Wanderlei Silva. Chael Sonnen has theory on how Izzy orchestrated his rise to fame through his fighting and media appearances.

Chael Sonnen said, “It’s not Du Plessis or other fighters that must be worried about Israel Adesanya. It’s Conor McGregor.” Sonnen stated that McGregor’s presence in public settings remains incredible, but Izzy was not far from such stardom.
