Twitter erupts as Charles Oliveira wins at UFC 274
Charles Oliveira is unbelievably good at mixed martial arts. The Brazilian lightweight has secured a win at yet another title fight but this time against Justin Gaethje at UFC 274. MMA Twitter went crazy for Do Bronx’s performance.
Charles Oliveira took on Justin Gaethje in the main event of UFC 274. Do Bronx faced upset leading up to the fight as he was stripped of the lightweight title owing to his failure at the weigh-ins. Despite the fact that he couldn’t win a belt. Charles came to the fight guns blazing and did not disappoint.
Oliveira got yet another submission win in the main event at the Footprint Arena in Phoenix, Arizona. Charles is on his path to becoming the greatest lightweight of all time as he looks to surpass Khabib’s legacy. If Oliviera had made weight, this would have been his second title defense since becoming a champion.
Oliveira has a lot of options right now and there is a list of fighters waiting for him to fight them. Several big names have shared their reactions on Twitter after the fantastic win from Oliveira at UFC 274. Charles is not the champion now but will be fighting for the vacant lightweight belt in his next fight.

Every win Charles accumulates to his record here on will see the mention of Khabib Nurmagomedov from the fans trying to compare the two fighters’ legacy. Khabib, however, is pushing for his teammate, Islam Makhachev to beat Oliveira and fight him this year for the title. “Is there really a more interesting duel in the UFC at the moment than Islam vs. Charles. Just bring these fighters to Abu Dhabi on October 22nd. Let the undisputed champion be determined,” wrote Khabib on Twitter.
Islam Makhachev who is most probably the next fighter in line for the lightweight belt has also put out a tweet calling out the Brazilian.
“Congrats Charles and see you in AbuDhabi for vacant,” wrote Makhachev who is currently on a 10-fight winning streak.
Dustin, who recently is coming off a loss against Oliveira at UFC 269 in last year wants a rematch ASAP after watching Do Bronx deliver that performance. “I want Charles. Thats the f**ken fight,” wrote Poirier.
