Chito Vera links up with Mike Tyson
Chito Vera recently had the privilege of meeting up with boxing legend Mike Tyson.
UFC’s rising bantamweight fighter Chito Vera is linking up with the legend Mike Tyson himself. Recently the bantamweight fighter has joined hands with clothing company RVCA which specializes in wear for sports and other activities. The fighter is a jiu-jitsu practitioner and endorses the clothing company’s fits for Jiu-Jitsu training.
Chito is associated with the brand’s “CARLSON GRACIE JIU-JITSU FOREVER” theme and has also been featured on the clothing brand’s official website. Recently the boxing legend, Mike was also part of the clothing brand. The two fighters from different universes of combat sports met with each other and sat down to have a chat. Tyson has been in the headlines quite a bit recently for his altercation with a fan on the plane.

“The tiger of the universe el campeón,” wrote Vera in a recent Tweet with a picture of Tyson. Vera also posted a couple more snapshots of the two fighters linking up on his Instagram account.
Chito Vera is determined to fight a top contender
Marlon “Chito” Vera has been fighting in the UFC for 8 years and the Ecuadorian bantamweight believes it is finally his time to get a shot at the title. The fighter just entered the top 5 of the bantamweight division and he believes he is ready to take on the #1 contender Petr Yan.
Vera is coming off a dominant win against Rob Font in 2022 and is looking to continue his winning momentum for at least another 2 fights this year. Marlon believes Petr Yan is on the path to the title shot and he looks to take him on by the end of this year. Chito is on a three-fight winning streak and has called out the Russian former champ on Twitter and also had a fiery exchange with him.
