“I don’t give a f**k about him,” Chris Curtis trashes Chael Sonnen in an outrageous tweet, calls the latter’s fights ‘boring’

Chael Sonnen had many people get mean to him for being “The Bad Guy” he was mostly known for in his days of fighting, seems Chris Curtis has been just added to the list of those people. Curtis, currently fighting in the UFC middleweight division last fought this past weekend at UFC London when he had to fill the spot for the co-main event against the #8 ranked middleweight in Jack Hermansson in the form of a replacement for fellow middleweight Darren Till. Unfortunately for Curtis, he lost the fight via unanimous decision, therefore frustrating himself and initiating a brief beef between him and Hermansson that got resolved later.
Sonnen is a former multiple-time UFC title challenger and semifinalist for one of Bellator MMA’s Heavyweight Grand Prix Tournaments. Sonnen retired from the sport of MMA 3 years ago after losing to Lyoto Machida via second-round TKO and with a record of 31-17 and a draw. Sonnen is now a promoter, Youtuber (with over a million subscribers), an analyst for ESPN MMA and commentator for Eagle FC. In his competitive days, Sonnen won over the likes of Mauricio Rua, Michael Bisping, Nate Marquardt, Paulo Filho, Yushin Okami and many more.
Chael Sonnen vows not to give any more compliments on Chris Curtis in near future
Curtis basically started off a back and forth with Sonnen by responding to people asking him about Sonnen’s latest video of him where Sonnen talks about how the fight went great in favour of Hermansson and how he was impressed by the rest of the fight card. Sonnen also had some thoughts indicative of some bafflement of why Hermansson apologised to Curtis in the Octagon interview, seems like he didn’t know the post-fight scene of brief enmity between the two.
In a couple of tweets from his official account, Curtis wrote “People keep asking me if I heard what Chael Sonnen said. Guys I don’t give a f**k about Chael Sonnen and let’s be real, nobody has ever watched a Chael Sonnen fight for entertainment. Ever. Remember how exciting it was to see him lay on silva for 4.5 rounds?”
“Top dollar f**king entertainment. Of course, he is cool with boring f**king fights. Seriously I like Chael as a personality but NONE of you was ever excited about Chael the Fighter and you know it.”
Sonnen informed Curtis just in case he missed the video with a rather sharp tweet indicative of how Sonnen’s perception of Curtis changed now. “I said beautiful things about your fight and I commended your attitude for stepping in on the short notice. Of course, now that you have disclosed how you feel we can consider it the last compliment I give you.” Curtis responded to Sonnen by saying “Doesn’t bother me in the f**king slightest.“
