“He’s got no chance,” Chuck Liddell assured of getting the better off Jake Paul in an MMA fight

Chuck Liddell is one of the most popular MMA fighters of all time and is one of the veteran fighters who helped in popularizing the sport. Liddell was with UFC from 1998 to 2010 and in 2018 came back from retirement to fight Tito Ortiz. However, that fight didn’t go well and Liddell got knocked out in the first round. Since then, the fighter hasn’t fought inside the octagon.
However, the former MMA fighter is ready to come back as he revealed the same in a recent interview with Inside fighting, Liddell expressed his ideas about fighting Jake Paul inside the octagon. Liddell said: “Sure, MMA? He wants to fight me in MMA now, I’d be down for that. He doesn’t want to fight me though. That’s alright. Good luck with it. I’m retired, I’m 53, man. Come on.”
Liddell confirmed that he would beat Paul very easily in an MMA bout and will definitely sign a contract if he’s given a hefty amount of money. “He’s got no chance. For sure [I’d sign a contract]. If he offered enough money, sure.” said Liddell.
Paul recently got signed by PFL and will eventually make his MMA debut in the upcoming months. As soon as he joined PFL, ‘The Problem Child’ was quick to call out Nate Diaz who is definitely someone who can draw humongous attention.
Jake Paul talks about UFC releasing Francis Ngannou from his contract
A few days ago, UFC president Dana White revealed that Francis Ngannou is a free agent and will no longer be a part of UFC. The heavyweight champion has been out of action for a year now after he suffered a knee injury.
While talking about it, Jake Paul made a tweet in which the undefeated boxer called Ngannou the ‘baddest man on the planet’ and respected his decision for standing up for his cause.
He wrote: “Francis Ngannou is the baddest man on the planet and is a free agent because he chose to be. He’s the heavyweight champ in MMA and will be until he loses. They are not happy about this. But it’s reality and they have to deal with it. They have to live with that every day.”
Ngannou has always been on bad terms with UFC in the last few years regarding his fight purse and interest in taking part in boxing bouts. However, being a free agent has definitely opened up new opportunities for the fighter to explore new choices.
