Colby Covington pleads "stay away" order from Jorge Masvidal

Colby Covington has claimed that his rival Jorge Masvidal inflicted major pain on him during the ambush at Miami Steak House.

Recently, Colby Covington and Jorge Masvidal took on each other in the octagon at UFC 272 and settled their long-time dispute. Or that’s what the world believed. However, Masvidal did not take the loss like a fighter and decided to ambush his rival last month outside the Papi Steak House in Miami, Florida for talking ill about his kids.

In a recent report suggested by ESPN, the #1 welterweight contender has alleged that his rival caused him severe injury to the brain. ESPN’s reporter Marc Raminondi acquired documents from the court and reported that the Miami fighter has been issued with a stay-away order from Covington which suggests that Jorge is not allowed to get within 25 feet distance of “Chaos”

Masvidal, however, has pleaded not guilty to his charges made by Covington. The “Gamebred” was charged with two separate battery charges and now has been relieved of both. Jorge had justified that he decided to ambush Covington for insulting his ex-wife, his kids, and his personal life.

Kamaru Usman has been ruling the welterweight division for the past few years. The welterweight champ knows what it is to be in a fight against the two contenders given he has beaten them twice inside the octagon. The MMA world was split with their opinions on who was wrong between Jorge and Colby. Masvidal’s attack on Colby also led to him breaking the #1 contender’s teeth.

“You can’t just run off the mouth and say what you want or do what you want and expect the opponent to still keep it sport-related,” Usman said when he broke the silence on the brawl. “Both guys I believe are in the wrong. You can’t just do what you want or say what you want.”
