Colby Covington is one of the top contenders in the welterweight division. Despite his loss to Leon Edwards at UFC 296, he seems to be in good spirits. Recently, he agreed to fight Ian Garry, but only if the latter in turn agreed to some bizarre stipulations. Covington also had his sights on other contenders in the division. As such, he trolled Belal Muhammad and Leon Edwards in his latest interview.

Colby Covington recently did an interview with Submission Radio. There he made fun of Belal Muhammad for not getting a title shot at UFC 300. 

But how funny of it guys that not even remember the racist Belal Muhammad got mentioned to get a title shot. So that's pretty f****** funny guys. He needs some game, he needs some activity.

He also talked about Leon Edwards not fighting at UFC 300. He said he was not shocked by the news and knew it was fake news from the start. Covington said that the people that UFC wanted to match Edwards up against were all going into Ramadan. Therefore, none of them were going to fight the welterweight champion.

Covington said the UFC was trying to hype Edwards up because he has no hype or star power. He also called the welterweight champion unoriginal and a deadbeat. According to Covington, Edwards is not a company man. He does not care about doing good business for the company.

Colby Covington has accepted Ian Machado Garry’s challenge to a summer fight. However, this fight would hold three conditions.

Covington is known for his controversial antics. He has made a name for himself with his trash-talking style and has often received widespread criticism for his choice of words and insults towards fellow fighters in the UFC.

Covington said that Garry and his wife Layla have to turn their Instagram comments back on. Next, Layla needs to convince everybody why the fight should happen. And finally, Layla needs to appear in one of Covington’s MyBookie ads. ‘Chaos’ said that if Ian Garry could meet these three conditions, he would accept his fight offer.
