Recent updates have confirmed that Covington and UFC heavyweight champion Jon Jones will be present in the same press conference. Covington has assured fans that he will not shy away from posing tough questions to Jones at the UFC 295 press conference. Speaking to Submission Radio, Colby Covington expressed his desire to have his own title bout against Leon Edwards. With a touch of sarcasm, Covington said, “You know the questions I’m gonna ask? I’m gonna ask him the questions that all the people want answered”. “What is a picogram Jonny?”, Covington iterates. “Hey, Jonny, who were the two girls that were in the back of your Bentley when you wrecked it in Vegas? I want the tough questions!”
He didn’t stop there and added, “Hey, Jonny, what was in the bag when you hit the pregnant lady at the stoplight and you fled from the scene? ” Covington said, “It’s gonna be electric factory,” since he is put on the same stage as Jon Jones. UFC veteran Chael Sonnen recently shared a video on his YouTube channel giving an update on the upcoming fight. There also, he didn’t miss the chance to diss Jones. “They gotta stack that card,” he spoke about UFC 295. “They can’t depend on Jon Jones and you know better than anyone. He’s unreliable. He’s unprofessional. He could get popped for steroids...“
