“You don’t dictate the terms c**k boy,” Colby Covington uses ‘wife and nutritionist’ angle to fire back at Ian Garry’s response video

Things are heating up between the welterweight contenders Ian Garry and Colby Covington. Recently, the American welterweight posted an insulting video, making vile remarks about Garry’s wife, Layla Anna-Lee. Now, after Garry’s reply, Covington trolled the Irishman concerning his relationship with Anna-Lee’s ex-husband, Richard Cullen.

Richard Cullen worked as a performance nutritionist for Ian Garry. Since Cullen was Layla Anna-Lee’s ex-husband, this spurred gossip and controversies. As such, amidst the recent verbal exchanges, rival Colby Covington didn’t let it pass by. He used the rumors surrounding their relationship to insult the Irishman. ‘Chaos’ repeatedly addressed Garry as ‘C**k’ and made derogatory comments about his wife. Here is what he said:

Layla's not a trophy, she's a participation award at best, which is fitting for you and your generation. You don't dictate the terms here cuck boy. You're a Gen Z beta and the only time you do any dictating is when you're on your knees for the nutritionist. The only thing you're famous for is parading around a nutritionist's sloppy seconds like she's miss universe. She's a four, at best.

The controversies started when Layla Anna-Lee’s old book ‘How to Be a WAG’ gained traction last year. Slowly, it drifted toward Garry’s relationship with his wife’s ex-husband, Richard Cullen. Although Garry came clean with his statements about their relationship, it didn’t convince rival Colby Covington.

Further in the video, Colby Covington reiterated the three stipulations he put forward in his first video. All three were aimed at Ian Garry’s wife, Layla Anna-Lee. He wanted her to turn on the social media comments, beg for Garry’s fight with him, and act in his next promotional video. If these conditions weren’t met, ‘Chaos’ claimed he wouldn’t accept a fight with ‘The Future.’

Ian Garry and his wife’s relationship with Richard Cullen explained

Ian Garry and Layla Anna-Lee have a professional relationship with Richard Cullen. He works as a performance nutritionist for the Irish fighter and also served Anna-Lee as a co-writer. However, controversies arose from the fact Cullen and Layla were former partners. Cullen and Anna-Lee have a child together. They claimed divorce in 2015, and Anna-Lee married Garry in 2022.

Due to the internet’s vile rumors, Ian Garry addressed his relationship with Richard Cullen. The Irish star stated he didn’t want to split Cullen’s relationship with his son. Garry wanted Cullen to feel he belonged and raise his son. As such, the UFC welterweight appointed him as his nutritionist and let him meet his son whenever he felt like it. Also, the undefeated fighter appreciated Cullen’s work as a nutritionist and attributed his easiness in weight cutting and fighting performance to him. Further, Ian Garry and Layla Anna-Lee share a kid of their own. Garry even changed his middle name to ‘Machado’ to inculcate a sense of bond with the two sons they’re raising. As such, Garry made all the decisions to bring together his family.
