Conor McGregor brutally shuts down Jake Paul’s comments about their potential fight in the future. Paul started off as a youtuber who wanted to fight in the boxing ring but now is one of the most prominent figures in the sport. The 26 year old has a perfect professional record of 5-0 with four knockout wins. Other than that, Paul has also started his own management company to promote other fighters. Paul has already made a lot of money that nobody expected him to make in boxing.

In the past, Paul has shown interest in fighting many other fighters and celebrities such as Mike Tyson, Anderson Silva, Nate Diaz, Jorge Masvidal etc. One of the major fights Paul always wanted to be a part of is the boxing bout with McGregor.

Recently in an interview with Ariel Helwani on the MMA HOUR show, the fighter explained the possibilities of him fighting the ‘Notorious’. He said :

” I think, for me, fighting a couple more times. Continuing to knock some people out, and he has to get active again. Who knows when that’s gonna happen? So I think those two things need to happen, and then at some point, it’s got to happen. You know, why not? He’s a business man, I’m a business man, and that’s 75 to 100 million dollars for both of us.”

After the interview between Paul and Helwani was posted, McGregor was keen to share his opinions on it.

That particular clip was shared by MMA Fighting on Twitter under which McGregor replied. The fighter mentioned that Paul’s last two fights only did 70k buys which very less. He wrote :

” ? you’ve 2 fights and done 70k buys.”

McGregor continued to disrespect Paul by also revealing that he is a flop and hasn’t achieved anything to fight with McGregor.

” You are a flop, kid. A nobody,” wrote McGregor.

Paul has tried many times to lure McGregor into a fight but the former UFC double champion has shown no interest at all. Currently, McGregor is recovering from his injury that he suffered last year. There has been no news about his possible comeback and who will fight. However, fight fans are always excited to hear anything about possibly the biggest star in the business.
