Netflix released Conor McGregor’s documentary on 17 May. The documentary showcases the part of McGregor’s career we never saw. McGregor Forever is packed with intense training sessions, personal life, and never before released footage that showcases the difficult journey of Conor McGregor. It also covers his intense rivalry with Khabib Nurmagomedov.

McGregor Forever covers the life of the Irish superstar who came from a lower middle-class background and conquered the UFC. He was an unknown Irish MMA fighter in 2008. Four years later, he became a prospect when he reigned as the Cage Warriors double-champion. He joined the UFC in 2013 and smashed everyone in his path to reign as the superstar he is today.

MMA is among the most demanding sports where fighters must compromise on their luxury. McGregor made his compromise and got rewarded with a luxurious lifestyle. McGregor’s journey included participating in training camps, enduring tough weight-cutting, and fighting through injuries. Losses were another important aspect of his career.

McGregor Forever is a documentary covering the life of Conor McGregor from his early years and his rise to stardom. The documentary covers the intense rivalry between McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov. It featured unreleased footage of McGregor tearing up after his loss.

The captured footage reveals McGregor sitting in the locker room after losing at UFC 229. The camera points to the television in the room where Bruce Buffer announces the fight’s result. McGregor starts to cry, thinking about his loss to Khabib.

Khabib dominated McGregor in the first two rounds with ease. McGregor started to find momentum in the third round by stuffing takedowns and controlling the striking the change.
