The MMA world has impatiently waited for Conor McGregor to return to action. He last fought Dustin Poirier in their trilogy fight in 2021. Recently, McGregor and his team confirmed that ‘The Notorious’ would return in 2024. As such, he released a series of videos of him training in boxing.

Conor McGregor recently shared footage of him training on X. He was hitting the pads in an intense training session. As such, he practiced a few combinations alongside his mitts man. He threw the combinations in repetition to sharpen his skills. He looked focused and sharp during the session. As such, he captioned the post ‘Sunday work with the team, inspired’. Working on Sundays confirms that McGregor was fixated on his return to MMA.

The Irishman broke his leg in his bout with Dustin Poirier in UFC 264. It was one of the most dreadful injuries the MMA world had ever seen. Many doubted whether Conor McGregor would fight again. But here he was, over two years after the injury, training passionately and working on his skills.

He demolished Jose Aldo in a matter of seconds and shocked the whole world. Later, he went on to become the first simultaneous two-division champion in the UFC.
