Connor Matthews piqued Conor McGregor’s attention at the UFC Fight Night Blanchfield vs. Fiorot. Matthews is a featherweight fighter who was scheduled to face Dennis Buzukja. Taking to X, the Irishman expressed his bewilderment at the existence of this “Connor Matthews” character. He playfully asserted his status as the only Conor in the UFC. The Irish superstar posted a thread of tweets only to delete them later. He referenced Nate Diaz’s iconic line in one of the deleted tweets.
