UFC superstar Conor McGregor might attend UFC 288, where Henry Cejudo makes his comeback. McGregor is currently in the United States and attended last week’s BKFC event. Cejudo started to coach other MMA fighters in his break away from the sport. Cejudo decided to return to the sport after witnessing the success of his students, Weili Zhang and Deiveson Figueiredo.

Henry Cejudo will look to dethrone Aljamain Sterling at UFC 288. During the media appearance on fight week, he indicated his desire to become a double champion for a second time in his career. After securing the bantamweight title, he intends to go after featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski. One reporter asked him about Conor McGregor and if Cejudo would invite the Irishman to train with him.

“Triple C” gave feedback on “The Notorious” one’s fighting style. Cejudo said, “If he was smart, he would watch it. I think the biggest thing Conor can do is adjust his stance. He’s too heavy on that lead leg. He’s not an attacker. Conor anticipates, and he counters well. Start bringing people into you.” Later keeping Khabib Nurmagomedov’s father-related tweet in mind, Triple C said no to any future collaboration with Mcgregor.

During a media appearance for UFC 288, Cejudo was asked if he would agree to coach McGregor. The former champ said, “I think he’s offended too many of my good friends. At first, yeah, I was kind of a Conor hater then I became a fan. He won me over, but I think he took things a little too far. Talking about Khabib’s father after him passing, calling my manager a rat, a terrorist, all that. I get sports, and I get the entertainment side, but that’s just a little too much for me.”

A reporter approached Conor McGregor in Los Angeles to discuss Cejudo’s comments and a future fight with Mike Perry in BKFC. McGregor replied, “Why not. I’ve got a couple of fights lined up. I’ve got the Chandler fight so that’s what I’m focused on.” Then he had two specific words for Henry Cejudo. McGregor said, “F**k him. F**k him. F**k him.”

This year, the MMA world witnessed the return of Jon Jones at UFC 285. Cejudo will return after a break of three years at UFC 288. UFC and fight fans also expect Conor McGregor to return against Michael Chandler later this year.
