The MMA world has been waiting for the comeback of Conor McGregor. It’s been almost two and half years since we saw ‘The Notorious’ in the UFC octagon. Incidentally, Michael Chandler called out McGregor after his spectacular knockout win over Tony Ferguson in UFC 274. Even the UFC announced that McGregor would face Michael Chandler on his return. Now, the Irishman posted a hilarious voice note imitating his potential opponent Chandler.

In the voice note posted on X by Conor McGregor, he imitated Michael Chandler’s callout of him. Chandler on his callout to McGregor told him that he would’ve to face somebody on his return and claimed himself to be the most entertaining lightweight on the planet. Now, McGregor told him to shut up after comically impersonating those lines. Here is what he said:

Conor McGregor got injured in his last fight against Dustin Poirier in UFC 264. He broke his tibia and fibula when he misplaced his foot while trying to take a step back. It was one of the most ghastly injury happened in a fight.

As such, he underwent surgery and got it fixed soon after. However, it has been months since we heard the news about his return, and still no official announcement of his return date.

Conor McGregor and Michael Chandler coached opposite each other in season 31 of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’. It took place in early 2023 and the fight between them was rumoured to happen after the show. However, we still haven’t got the news about their fight. But McGregor has hinted that his return would be by April 2024 in an interview with TNT Sports.
