Among all his troubles with the law, the USADA mishap, and consecutive losses at TUF31 against Team Chandler, Conor McGregor has finally found a ray of hope for all good things coming his way.
McGregor has ventured into various roles throughout the years. One of such prominent roles was his coaching position at The Ultimate Fighter program organized by the UFC. The 31st season between Team Michael Chandler and Team Conor McGregor is one-sided. Team Chandler has dominated the matchups so far with almost no losses. But the latest fight between Rico DiSciullo and Hunter Azure gave Team McGregor their first win after DiSciullo beat his opponent via TKO.
McGregor decided to spend time with Rico DiSciulo to mark the team’s first win by driving with the youngster on his Lamborghini. This might have been an attempt to motivate the team and Rico further. The amateur spoke in video footage on his “surreal experience.” Rico assumed that McGregor would only allow him to sit in the Lambo and rev it. But to his surprise, McGregor encouraged him to drive the supercar for longer.
As Rico mentions in the video, accomplishing your team’s first knockout win and proceeding to drive around in a Lamborghini with one of the most famous sports personalities of all time must have been recorded as a core memory for anyone.
Long-time rival Nate Diaz defends Conor McGregor against criticism from Jake Paul
A recent discussion between a fight enthusiast and UFC star Nate Diaz discussed the topic of Jake Paul’s trash-talking. Nate Diaz is in preparation for his fight against Jake Paul in August this year. The two fighters have gone back and forth with insults and negotiations, resulting in genuine dislike for each other. The lack of respect is so prominent that Diaz even defended rival Conor McGregor against Jake Paul’s comments.
Jake Paul had given Conor McGregor a lot of heat with some of his statements on Twitter. Jake Paul stated, “You’re more actively cheating on your wife than in the Octagon. Your priorities are mixed up. Put down the bottle and get back to fighting.”
Such accusations about another man’s wife did not sit well with Nate Diaz. The UFC welterweight believed that such statements only cause “real” fights and Jake Paul needs to “shut the fu*k up.“
