Conor McGregor’s The Black Forge Inn has become one of the most famous destinations in Dublin at this point. Thanks to Conor McGregor, the Inn attracts thousands of people of visitors and a multitude of celebrities. One such pair recently made their special moment at McGregor’s pub.
Conor McGregor took to Instagram to share a special moment between two couples at The Black Forge Inn. A couple just made things official by proposing, which the UFC superstar shared on his Instagram story. McGregor congratulated the newly engaged couple. He also shared the video of the special moment and wrote, “Mr Slick With It gets the Yes off his Princess”. This was shared with McGregor’s 46.8 million Instagram followers.
The Black Forge Inn is a renowned establishment located in Dublin, Ireland. Owned by Conor McGregor, the UFC superstar brought significant attention to the establishment. McGregor reportedly purchased The Black Forge Inn for €1.9 million in 2020.
The inn is situated in Crumlin, Dublin Twelve. It opened in Drimnagh in 2021. The pub is known for offering a premium bar and venue experience in the heart of Dublin 12. In addition, there were plans for expansion into Dubai and Abu Dhabi, indicating the inn’s ambition to reach a broader audience beyond Ireland
Conor McGregor finally bags black belt in BJJ
Conor McGregor recently added another accolade to his illustrious MMA career. His longtime mentor, John Kavanagh, honored him with the highly sought-after black belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.
Receiving the black belt in BJJ holds immense significance in an MMA fighter’s career. McGregor eagerly shared his accomplishment on social media, posting a series of updates and images. Notably, ‘The Notorious’ had attained the rank of brown belt back in 2014. In a video shared by McGregor, he expressed his heartfelt appreciation for his coach’s gesture. The video captured Kavanagh awarding him the black belt. Kavanagh himself articulated why McGregor, the former two-division champion, deserved this prestigious recognition.
McGregor’s caption was simple yet profound: “Thank you John, means the world”. In addition to the video, McGregor shared a collection of photographs from the event. Accompanied by a heartfelt message, he reflected on his more than ten-year journey of training at SBG Ireland, an integral part of his evolution as a fighter.
