Conor McGregor is now closer to making his UFC comeback. Most recently, Conor McGregor took to social media to convey the news of his re-enlistment into the USADA testing pool. The necessary paperwork has been completed and the Irish superstar will now undergo six months of random drug testing.

Conor McGregor shared an excerpt of what appears to be a communication from the USADA, confirming his reentry into the testing program, signifying his preparation for a potential 2024 fight. The message read, “Dear Conor McGregor, the United States Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) would like to take a moment to welcome you back as a member of the UFC Registered Testing Pool (RTP).”

McGregor has been away from the fight scene for over two years now. Ever since the devastating leg injury at UFC 264, McGregor has undergone surgery and recovery. He is now ready to make his much-anticipated comeback to the UFC octagon. Dana White recently spoke about Conor McGregor’s comeback. As of now the UFC CEO reportedly has nothing planned for the UFC superstar. However, McGregor is expected to share the octagon with Michael Chandler in a highly anticipated showdown.

If all goes according to plan McGregor could reportedly be back in the octagon by April 2024. Michael Chandler has been a prominent name in the mix of potential opponents for McGregor’s return.
