Jake Gyllenhaal and Conor McGregor’s Road House film was recently released on Amazon Prime Video. This marked the Hollywood debut of the Irish MMA star. The duo appeared in numerous interviews to promote their film. Recently, they went sneaker shopping. As such, the billing of McGregor’s purchase shocked the MMA community.

In collaboration with Complex, both the Road House stars went to Stadium Goods in New York City for sneaker shopping. After speaking about the sneakers on display and window shopping, Conor McGregor and Jake Gyllenhaal bought some products. Ultimately, the Hollywood star spent $1,928, while the MMA superstar spent a whopping $25,932.94.

Jake Gyllenhaal was astonished at Conor McGregor’s purchase value. While cracking a smile, ‘The Notorious’ responded that he had four kids and had to spend a lot. The Irishman bought nearly 17 pairs of shoes. Further, since the Hollywood actor bought sneakers as a donation to charity, McGregor also joined him in the good deed.

Conor McGregor’s shopping bag included a $9,759 sneaker from Louis Vuitton X Nike Air Force 1, which was his most expensive purchase. Given the net worth of the Irishman, this was just another shopping day in his life. Further, with Road House, he became the highest-paid debut actor. As such, the fighter enjoyed his lavish lifestyle. Nonetheless, he eyed a UFC return this year.

Jake Gyllenhaal details learning grappling from Conor McGregor

Conor McGregor is an enthusiastic person when it comes to mixed martial arts. The Irishman has reached the pinnacle of MMA with his dedication and devotion to the sport. He recently made his acting debut in Road House, which featured Jake Gyllenhaal in the lead role. The movie included a few action blocks between the duo and the Hollywood actor recalled the experience of fighting McGregor.

Jake Gyllenhaal stated that Conor McGregor actively taught him grappling during the filming of Road House. ‘The Notorious’ gave inputs to Gyllenhaal when they acted in grappling sequences. As such, the Hollywood actor even imitated the Irishman to share his excitement while teaching him. Here is what he said:
