Today Conor McGregor posted a series of new training footage among which one stood out. As he has boasted many times now, McGregor has a titanium rod in place to support his broken leg and he believes that will give him the eternal power of Dim Mak once he’s back in action.

With a lengthy caption boasting about his kicks being swift like lighting, McGregor can be seen targeting the pads with some high kicks. Anyone who’s ever trained and has gotten back from an injury, knows the initial hesitation one has to use their now healed parts in an aggressive manner. The same is with McGregor.

Back in his pre-2016 run McGregor’s kicks were precise and lightning fast, the strikes you don’t see coming hurt you the most and the same was with Conor. However in the recent training footage there is notable hesitation in his movement and who can blame him for that. A great recent example to compare him now is the head kick that sent Cerrone to the canvas during their bout at UFC 246, with the same leg.

Get to the top of the mountain and work your way down is the way!” He concluded by saying, “I kick this pad dead central and then I kick it above at the very top of the pad to demonstrate I can go way higher with ease. My stock is mr whippy.”
