“Batter the whole family” – Conor McGregor references UFC 229 fight as he sends a threatening Tweet aimed at arch-nemesis Khabib Nurmagomedov

Conor McGregor vs Khabib Nurmagomedov
Conor McGregor, despite not having fought in the UFC since UFC 264, seemed to have a renewed vigor about himself on Twitter. He took shots at everybody. This included commentator Joe Rogan and former arch-nemesis, Khabib Nurmagomedov, among others.
Not even AEW champion, MJF was spared from The Notorious’ wrath. His reignited beef with The Eagle, however, was something everyone took note of. Conor in a now-deleted Tweet wrote a very confusing tweet that seemed to insinuate that he was coming after Khabib’s brethren.
McGregor wrote, “The lion king chills. Unscathed. They’ll do nothin. Wait an I get up Im gonna and batter the whole family. On top of the cage, the lot. That’s a fu**in lion chillin right there. and a rat knawing.” Below the caption was a picture of the end of their fight at UFC 229. It showed Conor sitting on the octagon floor in defeat as Herb Dean tried to get the furious Khabib away from Conor.

However, despite the shots at Joe Rogan being largely unfounded, it could be said that Conor’s shots at Khabib were in retaliation to the Eagle’s comments. Nurmagomedov recently appropriated one of Conor’s most famous lines at an interview. And ever since, Conor has been taking shot after shot at Khabib.
Conor McGregor recently announced that he was going to be back in USADA’s testing pool

Fans have been waiting for well over a year for the Notorious’ comeback to the octagon. The last time he was in the cage was when he suffered a devastating injury in his TKO loss against Dustin Poirier. However, with him bulking up to a considerable size for his role in the Road House remake, it seemed a comeback was off the cards.
But Conor McGregor surprised everyone yesterday on Twitter. He announced that he was going to be back in the USADA testing pool and his team was booking a fight. “I am clear for testing in February. I will complete my two tests per USADA and we are booking a fight.” This tweet from McGregor sent the MMA community into overdrive.
