It’s been 3 years now since Conor McGregor won his last fight. After facing a defeat against Khabib Nurmagomedov, Conor faced Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone in his comeback fight after one and half years of time game gap.

At UFC 246 it was one of those moments when Conor McGregor bring his new way of breaking the bone of an opponent. It was just round one starting when Notorious tried to implement his newly learned move. During the first grappling, McGregor used his shoulder tapping to give damage Cerrone’s face so that he break the momentum but It worked more than he expected.

As both the fighters were grappling while standing, Conor used his shoulder taps which broke the nose of Donald Cerrone. As both the fighters got separated, Cerrone seemed to be bleeding already. Then Conor Landed the leg kick to Cowboy’s face which did the maximum damage as McGregor mentioned leg kick broke his orbital socket.

Herb Dean was looking at the fight closely, as this was the main event referee who gave Cerrone enough chance to fight back but McGregor won by TKO in the main event of UFC 246. It was a much-needed victory for McGregor as he was defeated by Khabib Nurmagomedov in a humiliating fashion.

Conor McGregor explains how he broke the bones of Donal “Cowboy” Cerrone in his 40 sec time frame victory. In his Tweet Notorious said “Listen to the sound of the breaks. The first one breaks the nose, then the following two break the orbital socket.” As he explains throwback videos in his fashion of talking.

After winning the fight Conor McGregor said “The so-called experts of the game when they break down my skill-set, they say I’m just a fighter with a left hand, which is highly disrespectful and uneducated,” in the post-fight interview. At that time everyone was criticizing him for not having enough skills to remain a champion. After that fight, Conor faced 2 losses against the same opponent Dustin Poirier.

The interesting thing here was after Khabib, Conor didn’t face much of a tough challenge. As Cowboy was about to retire from combat sports then facing Dustin Poirier was his toughest challenge. Later Conor failed to secure the win in both bouts. Where Conor was already 1-0 up in the trilogy which ended up going 1-2 against him.
