Road House is scheduled for release on March 21, 2024. McGregor’s co-star, Jake Gyllenhaal, has not received any feedback from UFC CEO Dana White. In a post-fight news conference for UFC 297, White stated that, while he had the footage in his office, he had not had the opportunity to watch it yet. Jake Gyllenhaal and McGregor shot some film scenes during the UFC 285 weigh-ins and PPV.

Despite being out of MMA for over two years, McGregor remains a popular figure in the combat sports industry. He will possibly return this year against Michael Chandler. The fight will likely take place in the International Fight Week. It’s only a matter of months before fight fans witness McGregor’s presence on the silver screen.

Doug Liman directs the revamped version of the 1989 cult hit. This movie stars Hollywood actor Jake Gyllenhaal as former UFC fighter Dalton. The film promises an adrenaline-fueled story as Dalton takes on the role of a bouncer at a Florida Keys roadhouse.

One distinguishing feature of the film is its link to the UFC. The movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal captured numerous sequences in front of a live audience during the weekend of UFC 285 in March 2023. This provides a realistic touch to the film by merging the worlds of Hollywood and MMA.
