UFC 298 is just around the corner, and UFC star Conor McGregor has made his predictions. Conor McGregor took to X and sent out his wishes for the fighters and his predictions for this fight. McGregor supports his Irish compatriot Ian Garry for this fight. Here is what happened:

Conor McGregor predicted good results for both Ian Garry and Alexander Volkanovski at UFC 298. He sent out a tweet ahead of the fight with his predictions for the highly exciting matchups. This is what McGregor wrote: 

Awesome night of @ufc fights tonight! Garry is going to run thru Geoff in the first round. Volk will get hurt early but come back and KO illia. Over in 2 rounds...

McGregor predicted Garry would beat Geoff Neal in the first round. Ian Garry ranks #10 in the welterweight rankings, while Geoff Neal ranks #7. Meanwhile, McGregor predicted Volkanovski would get hurt by Ilia Topuria early in the fight. However, he wrote that Volkanovski would come back strong and win within the next rounds. McGregor predicted Volkanovski would secure a knockout to defend his UFC featherweight championship title.

He also extended his support for Paulo Costa and Robert Whittaker‘s fight as well as that of Merab Dvalishvili and Henry Cejudo. Conor McGregor predicted both these fights would have good three-round exchanges.
