UFC superstar Conor McGregor praised Aadam Hamed on his pro-boxing debut. Aadam is the son of McGregor’s hero, Prince Naseem Hamed. Aadam debuted on the undercard of Oleksandr Usyk vs. Daniel Dubois PPV card. The fight ended in the very first round as Aadam made quick work of his opponent.

Speaking after the victory, In classic Conor McGregor style, Hamed said, “I’m not here to take part, I’m here to take over!”. In an X post (formerly Twitter), McGregor said he would share Aadam Hamed’s video with his son. McGregor tweeted, “I will show my son Conor Jr. this and explain that this is the son of the man who motivated me to become the person I am today. Now, he is carrying forward his father’s legacy! Blessings to the Hamed family. Exceptional job, Aadam! #WeAreNotHereToTakePart”.

Aadam Hamed, aged 23, unexpectedly faced the considerably less skilled 17-year-old Vojtech Hardy due to circumstances beyond his control. Hardy offered little resistance and faced a quick defeat in the first round. During the 1990s, Prince Naseem Hamed won the WBO featherweight world championship. He held the title for an exciting six years. His captivating personality and flamboyant fighting style propelled him to celebrity status in the UK. He even left a lasting impact in the US with a legendary match against Kevin Kelley.

However, his reign in the boxing world was cut short as he did not fight long after his first setback. He retired at the age of 28. His retirement helped him focus on the development of his growing family. His son Aadam, will take over the family business and hopefully replicate the success of his father.

Francis Ngannou has joined forces with the legendary Mike Tyson. Tyson has taken on the role of coaching Ngannou for his highly anticipated boxing debut against Tyson Fury. Mike Tyson found some similarities to when Conor McGregor fought Floyd Mayweather.

Ngannou and McGregor had a tremendous career in the UFC. McGregor was the first simultaneous double champion in the UFC. Ngannou was the scariest heavyweight champion in UFC history. His strained relations with Dana White and disagreement on a new contract eventually led him to leave the UFC.

Ngannou’s name is synonymous with monstrous power in the combat world. Fans were very let down when Ngannou chose to exit the UFC. However, he has found a home at PFL. In the past, Tyson praised McGregor for stepping into the boxing ring. However, he ensured that Ngannou would emerge victorious when “The Predator” faced the undefeated champion Fury in Saudi Arabia.
