Conor McGregor recently announced his comeback fight. In a recent tweet, McGregor announced that he will headline the 2024 International Fight Week PPV against Michael Chandler. McGregor also said that the fight will be contested at middleweight. Former two-division champion Henry Cejudo provided a hilarious take on McGregor’s return.

On his YouTube channel, this is what Cejudo said about McGregor:

Conor McGregor hasn't won a fight since, well, since Caitlyn Jenner could, you know, sit, uh, you know, was standing actually, peeing. I mean, Conor McGregor hasn't really won a fight since he beat Donald Cerrone.

Cejudo brutally trolled. He even stated that McGregor’s last win in the UFC, which was against Donald Cerrone, was when Caitlyn Jenner, a former Olympic gold medalist, did gender reassignment surgery. That was not true. Cejudo was just making his point that it has been a long time since McGregor won a fight. McGregor defeated Cerrone in January 2020, whereas Jenner fully transitioned in 2017.

Cejudo will face Merab Dvalishvili at UFC 298. He lost his previous fight against Aljamain Sterling at UFC 288 and will look to contend for the title again after victory at UFC 298. Like Conor McGregor, Cejudo is also a two-division champion in the UFC. However, unlike Conor McGregor, who does not have a title defense, Cejudo defended both his belts one time each.

Ex-double champ says a middleweight fight favors Conor McGregor over Michael Chandler

Conor McGregor announced his comeback to the octagon against Michael Chandler. Surprisingly, his comeback fight will be at middleweight. He has not fought at middleweight before. If victorious in his middleweight debut, he will be the first to win in four division weight classes in the UFC.

Former two-division champion Henry Cejudo provided his take on who gets the advantage at 186lbs. This is what Cejuod said about it on his YouTube channel:

I think it might be an advantage for Conor a little bit, just because he's already had that weight stacked up, you know. ....Conor doesn't have to cut. Maybe he could just really focus on power.....I'm kind of going for Conor. I kind of like the fact that Conor could, especially if he fights at 185, maybe he could potentially be the first person to make that jump.

Cejudo believes that a fight at middleweight would favor McGregor. McGregor would not have to cut weight at middleweight and could focus entirely on power. However, Cejudo did not believe that McGregor can become a three-division champion.

In case you missed it!
