Dan hooker has been having a bad run recently, Loosing 4 out of his 5 last fights Dan needs to analyze what is going wrong in his fight approach. The 32-year fighter from New Zealand has been struggling to get a win against a ranked opponent since his loss against Dustin Poirier at UFC FIGHT NIGHT.

The UFC fighter then lost a fight against debutant Michael Chandler only under 3 minutes of round 1st via TKO. The fight against Islam was also very embarrassing for Dan Hooker as he again lost the fight under 3 minutes of the 1st round, this time via submission.

After humiliating defeats, Dan looks to get back into the octagon and earn what he lost. Talking with Submission Radio Dan said:” I want to get back I want to get back to where I was you know what I mean and that’s like that’s the best”.

Taking about his losses Dan said: “I really wasn’t in that bad of a spot after the Islam but that just the fashion in which that fight ended didn’t sit well and that like really lit a fire to me to get get back to the same position I was before that fight so I just started digging you know what I mean I was like I’m gonna get my way out and then after the Arnold Allen fight I look around and my hole’s twice as deep

Dan has been going through a rough patch in his fighting career. His recent loss against Arnold Allen at Featherweight has made the fighter rethink his position in the Featherweight division. Dan hooker has fought in multiple divisions throughout his career and now the fighter has made it clear that he will be fighting at lightweight again.

Talking to Submission Radio Dan said: “Oh Fu*k no I couldn’t have made 145 if I wanted to I’m closer to the middleweight then Featherweight.”

The lightweight division is one of the most competitive divisions right now and Dan moving to Lightweight might be challenging for him however how he copes with the challenge is something everyone wants to see.
