Dana White talks on Colby Covington vs Khamzat Chimaev
Dana White is just as excited as any of us for another Khamzat Chimaev fight. The UFC boss confirms he will bring “Borz” and welterweight superstar Colby Covington to London for an upcoming PPV event.
England fans finally have a card that could head-to-head with UFC 280 for being the most-stacked card of 2022. Dana White, UFC President wants to treat London fans right by bringing their very own champ, Leon Edwards to fight his trilogy against Kamaru Usman.
To make things better, the UFC boss has confirmed that he will book Colby Covington vs Khamzat Chimaev as the co-main event for that upcoming PPV bout. In an interview with TheMacLife, White was pitched with a fight between Chimaev and Covington by the reporter. To the reporter’s surprise, the UFC boss was down to make that idea a reality.
“I agree with you. I’m on it. I’ll get it done,” said White with enthusiasm. This fight has been in the making for quite some time and to even imagine the two stars walking out in front of a packed London crowd is chilling.

Why Khamzat Chimaev cs Colby Covington is the right fight to make
You couldn’t wish for a better matchup than this fight. Khamzat Chimaev has risen to the top of the welterweight rankings and showed the world something they’ve never seen before, it is only right to test the “Borz” with someone who could go toe-to-toe with him in the octagon and also on the microphone.

Chimaev is currently undefeated in his professional career. Four fights into the promotion, Chimaev faced the former title contender, Gilbert Burns, and showed the world that he can hang with the best of the division. Colby Covington has been on Chimaev’s mind for quite some time and “Chaos” is the perfect fight to find out if Chimaev is truly ready for a championship fight.
Having fought for the title thrice himself, (twice for the undisputed belt and once for the interim belt), Covington is the finest of welterweights in the world.
