Dana White was a recent guest on comedian Theo Von‘s podcast. The podcast episode gained traction due to Dana White‘s thoughts on freedom. In this podcast, White shared the story of a big-time sponsor asking him to remove his personal social media post of Donald Trump.

The topic came into discussion after Theo Von shared a similar story. Apparently, Peloton Interactive sponsored Von’s podcast. They didn’t want Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on the podcast. This resulted in Dana White even taking Peloton’s equipment out of the UFC PI. During the podcast, White talked about what comedian Dave Chapelle said in a comedy show. This is what White said:

You cannot be held hostage by advertisers. Dave Chappelle made a great point in his comedy routine when he talked about not having a tennis shoe deal. He mentioned that he's been offered such deals but doesn't take them because as soon as you do something the advertisers don't like, they can take it all away.

White basically talked about the ‘F**k you’ mentality that Chappelle follows. Moreover, White urged Theo Von to follow Chappelle. He even encouraged Von to say the same to the Peloton CEO. Von was inspired by Dana White’s words and even called out the Peloton CEO, Barry McCarthy.
