UFC President Dana White and Francis Ngannou embarked on a complex contract negotiation where Francis Ngannou refused to sign the biggest contract in UFC Heavyweight division history. Francis Ngannou vacated his Heavyweight title and has left the UFC. Dana White went on, as usual, booking a new title fight pitting Jon Jones against Ciryl Gane for the Vacant Title.

Recently addressing the Press for promoting the UFC 285 card, White was asked about Francis Ngannou potentially returning to the UFC. A reporter asked who would be the next challenger for the UFC Heavyweight Championship if it would be Stipe Miocic or if Francis Ngannou could return to the UFC. White was quick to say no. He said, “We negotiated with him for years. It is over. That is over. He will never be in the UFC.”

Dana White is known to be a ruthless businessman in negotiation. Dana claims to have offered the biggest contract ever for a Heavyweight, but Ngannou turned it down, citing a disagreement over the terms. For now, Dana White has closed the door on Ngannou fighting in the UFC.

Ngannou is now a free agent looking for a big payday. He has indicated an interest in boxing big names like Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder shortly. He has not had any fight offers, but it is only a matter of time before someone approaches Ngannou with a fight offer.

Dana White and UFC cut Darren Till from the UFC Roster

Q 1677908447

Former Welterweight Title Challenger Darren Till has been cut from the UFC. Till moved to the Middleweight division in 2019 after difficult weight-cutting at Welterweight. He won his first fight against Kelvin Gastellum but has lost three fights in a row in the Middleweight division. He has 5 losses in the last 6 fights, leaving UFC to cut him.

Darren Till is a big name in the UFC. He has a huge fan following in England and has been the main event attraction in several UK-based fight cards. Surprisingly, the UFC cut him because they keep famous stars around despite their losing streak. Darren Till has been riddled with many injuries over the years that have hampered his progress as a fighter.

Darren Till could return to the UFC like Kevin Lee has returned. Lee was cut following a streak of losses but has returned to the UFC. BKFC recently recruited former UFC stars Luke Rockhold and Eddie Alvarez for BKFC 41. There will be interest in Till from other MMA promotions, we might soon find out.
