Dana White was praying for this day! The UFC boss has been challenging YouTube sensation Jake Paul to fight a “real opponent” in Anderson Silva ever since the two went back and forth in a very entertaining “beef”. Now that Jake is finally setting his eyes on the MMA legend, the UFC boss gives his initial reaction to this matchup.

Jake Paul and Dana White have been spitting insults at each other for quite some time now. At this point, even the UFC boss, who is known to not back down from any media beef is looking to settle down and brush off the insults from the YouTuber. However, there is no doubt that some part of White wants his “GOAT” Anderson Silva to show the YouTube kid levels.

Jake Paul has an undefeated boxing record but there always will be an asterisk on that given the YouTuber has not fought a single professional boxer. His main targets have been guys older than him from any other sport than boxing. Though Anderson is not a professional boxer per se, the MMA legend sure has made waves in the boxing world with stints in the boxing ring. Dana strongly believes Anderson is a high-level opponent for the Paul brother and hopes to see how the fight plays out.

After this week’s Contender Series episode, the UFC boss addressed the media and was open to any questions, as always. Reporters wanted to get Dana’s first impression on the reports suggesting Jake fighting UFC legend, Anderson Silva. “I don’t give a sh*t about it. BUT, if he is really fighting Anderson Silva and that’s true, it’s about time,” said Dana talking to the media.

“Yeah, he’s got a real fight in his hands. Regardless of how old Anderson is, that’s a real fight,” added White. There you go, Jake Paul. A win over Anderson Silva will finally give you a legitimate win according to Dana. The fight between Paul and Silva is yet to be announced officially. Ever since his second win over former UFC champ, Tyron Woodley, Jake has been meaning to fight a real opponent in the boxing ring.

His last two opponents, Tommy Fury, and Hasim Rahman Jr, both pulled out of the fight and the Youtuber was left with no opponents. Anderson Silva on the other hand is an undisputed legend of the mixed martial arts sport. The fighter holds several UFC records to his name and is also considered to be the greatest of all time by Dana White himself. His recent performances in the boxing ring have been phenomenal. And if the recent reports turn out to be true, looks like Silva is going to get “PAID” paid for his next fight.
