Dana White has made a bold prediction of guaranteeing that the next middleweight title fight would be savoured by everyone across the board. In the main event of UFC 276 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Israel Adesanya defeated Jared Cannonier and successfully defended his UFC Middleweight Championship.
The champion was mostly restricted to leg kicks and jabs throughout the fight, and Cannonier was less of a threat as the crowd occasionally booed him in rounds four and five. Some even departed early because it was obvious who would raise their hand. Adesanya decided against taking the risk in the end, and Alex Pereira is expected to face him for the middleweight title next. There was no memorable knockout.
