Dana White is a notorious gambler. It is no surprise that casino owners Frank and Lorenzo Fertitta are his closest friends. White is also very close with influencers. Steve Deleonardis of the NELK Boys is one of his excellent friends. Recently, Taylor Lewan and Deleonardis gifted White $500,000 through gambling.

White returned the favor to Deleonardis recently before UFC 296. Bussin’ With The Boys podcast recently released the video of the incident. Just before UFC 296, Deleonardis went through a downward spiral playing Blackjack. Then, he proceeded to call Lewan and White for help. Lewan and White swiftly reached the casino and saved Deleonardis from a $300,000 loss. This is what Deleonardis had to say about the incident.

So, I'm down $170,000. I text Taylor (Lewan), saying, 'Yo, I'm down $170, shit's going back bad,' and he just texts me, 'I'm on my way.' That is a good friend, dude. These guys(Lewan and Dana White) are the best.

Deleonardis became very grateful for the help from the duo. UFC CBO Hunter Campbell and fitness influencer Sara Saffari were also there at the time. Deleonardis would later go on to meet Donald Trump and Kid Rock, who were cageside to watch UFC 296.

At UFC 296, Leon Edwards defended the welterweight title against Colby Covington in the main event. Moreover, Alexandre Pantoja defended his flyweight title against Brandon Royval. Furthermore, Josh Emmett knocked out Bryce Mitchell with a brutal right hand in the main card opener.

Joe Rogan explains the Gambling proclivities of UFC CEO Dana White

Joe Rogan is one of Dana White’s closest friends. White is the main reason why Rogan does commentary work for the UFC. In his contract, it states that Rogan would leave if Dana White left the company. On many occasions, Rogan has spoken about the gambling proclivities of White.

During his podcast episode with magician David Blaine, Rogan described White losing a hundred thousand Dollars in just five minutes. However, White would break even and even finish the night with a profit. Rogan also described White’s notorious gambling spree during his podcast episode with Lex Friedman. He described how one of the casinos banned White due to him winning $6 million. White would retaliate by pulling the UFC event from the casino.

White famously took his son to gamble when he reached the legal age. Rogan believed that White had too much money and gambling was the only way for the UFC CEO to get a kick out. Nevertheless, Rogan does not partake in gambling.
